Pottery

Okey! this piece of art was made during my clay modelling classes of my school.
After nearly 5 or 6 trials and twice being send back to clean the clay better, I achieved in making this one.

And yeah..the whole experience of making it on the potter's wheel was wonderful. One could see how all that much of clay slowly shapes up into a pot. It was fun!

Though all the credits of its painting goes to my sis...lol

This pot was made by me and my sister together. We bought a plain pot, colourful tiles and china clay.

Breaking the colourful tiles was tonnes of fun!!

Finally it took us 2 full days so as to keep on layering the pot with china clay till the time all the tile pieces were properly in.

This is one of my favourites.

Inspired by a trip to Banaras, India and the many Radha-Krishna sculptures, paintings and legends the holy city is replete with.

This sketch celebrates the ethereal beauty of the Indian woman.

River Phoenix

River Phoenix of the 'Stand by Me' fame.

Ain't he good -looking?

Girl

Making this one was fun...the eyes had taken me quite a lot of time though.

Tree

The tree is inspired from a practice book. But I added the scenery myself to make it look complete.

Well!...for starters following are some of the basic sketches any one whose into the sketching spree would have tried. I did this during my schooling from some of those practice sketch books.
